Start-up process
Before we can start on the PMO, we always begin by asking whether there is an RI&E and whether it is up to date. This is because the RI&E contains a chapter that includes the PAGO advice. From RI&E to PAGO
Suppose that the RI&E results in a PAGO recommendation. Roughly speaking, this means that risks associated with the various positions within the company have been identified. It also means that the employer is now obliged to offer a PAGO to the staff. From PAGO to PMO
The PAGO is often offered in combination with the PMO. This is because, in addition to the health risks associated with the work, the general health risks of an employee are also taken into account. After all, these can also influence how a person feels, how well he or she can perform the work, and how susceptible he or she is to work-related risks. The PAGO is a mandatory component, but with the PMO, you can make it as comprehensive as you want or think is necessary.
